New in Unblocked: PR Failure Agent, Unblocked MCP Server (beta) & Asana Integration

PR Failure Agent (out of beta, and expanded support for Bitbucket & GitLab)#

CI failures that delay landing your pull request can be incredibly frustrating - especially when the root cause isn’t obvious. No one likes digging through lengthy logs and deciphering cryptic error messages.

With the PR Failure Agent, Unblocked analyzes CI failures and posts a clear triage report directly in your pull request explaining what went wrong and how to fix it.

PR Failure Agent is now generally available has been expanded to include additional source code management systems:

• GitHub
• Bitbucket
• GitLab

And the following CI platforms:

• GitHub Actions
• Bitbucket Pipelines
• BuildKite
• CircleCI
• GitLab Pipelines

Unblocked MCP Server (beta)#

Unblocked is now available as an MCP server supercharging tools like Cursor, Windsurf and VSCode.

These tools are great for well-scoped tasks like writing unit tests, refactoring functions, or generating boilerplate. It works best when the problem is clear and the needed context is right in the file.

They fall short when the task requires deep or distributed context like understanding legacy business logic buried across multiple services, surfacing edge-case behavior tied to tribal knowledge or undocumented decisions or explaining why something was done a certain way.

That’s where Unblocked MCP comes in - it surfaces the knowledge your team already relies on, filling in the gaps and helping these tools generate significantly better code.

Support for Asana#

If your team uses Asana to track projects and tasks, you can now bring that context into Unblocked.

Connect Asana as a data source, and Unblocked will automatically surface relevant answers from tasks, comments, and updates. You can also ask questions like “What are my open tasks?” or “What are the Asana comments related to this code change?”
