Introducing the Unblocked Answers API for Custom Workflows

Today, we’re launching the Unblocked Answers API, a new way to bring Unblocked’s Q&A capabilities directly into your own tools and workflows.

Until now, our API has focused on letting teams add documents and data into Unblocked. This made it easier to ingest information from proprietary systems or custom sources not covered by our native integrations.

With the new Answers API, you can now query Unblocked directly from anywhere. That includes internal dashboards, ticketing systems, support portals, or incident response tools. The API gives you programmatic access to ask natural language questions and receive answers based on everything Unblocked has access to — Slack threads, Confluence pages, Google Docs, Jira tickets, and any other connected or ingested source.

Here are a few ways teams are already using it:

  • Powering internal support flows with automated, context-rich answers
  • Automatically triaging incidents by surfacing relevant past discussions or runbooks
  • Embedding Q&A into developer portals or agent consoles
  • Providing intelligent suggestions inside form fills, intake flows, or documentation sites

The Answers API gives you the same quality and depth of Unblocked’s core experience, now accessible from wherever your team works.
