Head of Demand Generation

Remote, US

As Head of Demand Generation at Unblocked, you’ll get the unique opportunity to help build the go-to-market strategy for an in-demand product from the ground up. To start, you’ll be responsible for identifying the experiments we should run to build Unblocked’s growth playbook. As we get evidence of what works, you’ll take a leadership role, turning these experiments into comprehensive campaigns that generate high-quality leads and enable our sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Unblocked is a high-growth, well-funded SaaS company that helps answer questions software development teams have about their applications. This allows them to spend less time in meetings/dealing with interruptions, and more time writing code.

We are a small team with a track record of building developer tools that solve real problems. We encourage participation in the entire product development process, and you will have the opportunity to help define Unblocked and shape its roadmap, implement the solutions that deliver the experience customers love, and get first-hand feedback from the teams who use what we have built.

About You

You’ve helped design and run experiments for early-stage developer tools startups that identify the channels and tactics for driving growth. You know how to scale experiments that show promise, and how to optimize multi-touch programs as a company grows. You’re intellectually curious and honest when it comes to data, and you’re interested in doing what works for the audience and the product rather than simply following the trends.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in demand generation or growth roles, with a focus on developer tools.
  • Proven track record of building demand generation programs that generate qualified leads and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the developer landscape, including familiarity with the tools and technologies developers use.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to enhance campaign performance.
  • Experience working in complementary ways with other parts of the marketing team, and with cross-functional partners on product and sales.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, data enrichment platforms, outbound marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
  • An ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and a love for growth challenges.
  • Grace under pressure and a high degree of comfort with the ambiguity that comes with being part of an early-stage start up.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience working on AI tools.
  • Experience with Webflow.
  • Experience with GitHub.
