Many customers want to use Unblocked to help automate their internal support in Slack. You can now have per-channel settings over how answers are generated.

Many teams use Unblocked to power internal support channels in Slack. Instead of waiting on a teammate to reply—or digging through docs and old threads—teammates can ask a question and get a fast, reliable answer, instantly.

This is especially useful in channels like `#help-backend`, `#onboarding`, or `#ask-devrel`, where repeat questions pop up all the time. Unblocked helps reduce interruptions, keep engineers in flow, and lighten the load on subject-matter experts.

Now, we’ve made Unblocked even more flexible with per-channel configuration. You can adjust how answers are generated and when they appear, tailored to the needs of each channel.

Here’s what you can customize:

- **Data sources:** Choose which tools Unblocked pulls from (e.g., GitHub, Notion, Confluence)
- **Answer style:** Set the tone, length, and research depth**‍**
- **Response timing:** Control when and how often Unblocked should auto-reply
